The Emerald Peek was honored to commemorate the sacrifice and service of our current and former Veterans throughout the day on Saturday, November 11th. We escorted two of our Veterans, James Hadley (Korean War Veteran) and Leroy Smith (World War II Veteran), to Monument Park in Peekskill, where they were individually recognized for their service. Following the program, part of the Emerald Peek team returned with the attendees to the American Legion Hall, where lunch and dessert, provided by our team, was served. In addition, we welcomed Veterans from the Peekskill / Cortlandt community to visit with us and allow us to offer them a small token of our appreciation – whole apple and pumpkin pies. On Veterans Day and throughout the year, Emerald Peek is privileged to serve those who serve us.
