Charmaine Thomas, MSW

Charmaine Thomas has decades of experience working in healthcare, providing care, advocating in nursing homes, hospitals, and home/hospice care settings. Charmaine is strong in her faith and believes that helping residents and their families and anyone who seeks help is her purpose. Charmaine has worked as a CNA, Hospice Care, Home Care, Inservice Coordinator, Tutor, and Director of Social Services in several nursing homes. Charmaine graduated from Mercy College with Phi Alpha honors, earning a BSW degree. She was then accepted to the one-year Advanced Standing Program at New York University, where she earned her MSW degree. Charmaine has survived many obstacles in life but is resilient and continues to strive for success. Charmaine's favorite quote is, " Never be defined by your past, it was a lesson, not a life sentence, with God all things are possible."
