Director of Patient Services
With 30 years of vast experience in Acute Care, Gerontology, and Nursing Education. Eileen serves as the Director of Patient Services at Emerald Peek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Eileen joined the team in March 2019.
Eileen earned her BSN from Mount Saint Mary College, Newburgh, New York. She holds a Masters Degree in Nursing from Pace University, Pleasantville, New York, and an Advanced Practice Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She started nursing as a medication technician, CNA, LPN and then earned her Registered Professional Nurse Degree. She has a clear understanding of all the nursing roles in healthcare.
Most recently Eileen lead teams at the Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx, New York. She has numerous Awards from Outstanding Clinical Leader Awards, Long Term Care Scholarship Award and The Department of Veterans Affairs VA Secretary's Nurse of the Year Award for Leadership in 2017. She is a member of the National Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau; Mu Epsilon and Zeta Omega dual membership.
Eileen uses her skills and abilities of critical thinking and is nationally certified as a Coach Mentor. Her specialty is building teams and milieu's that are holistically created to create positive outcomes.
